We deliberately aim to have stalls with a good mix of arts and crafts, to provide as much interest for visitors as possible - Obviously, the more visitors we can attract the better your sales will be.

1) For first time bookings

Fill out this Expression of Interest Form, enclosing up to 3 photos which best represent your work. Once we have received your form we will review your application and let you know whether we still have free stalls and if there is availability for your particular craft.

Don't take it personally if we initially turn you down - it may simply be that we already have other stalls selling your type of craft and to maintain a good variety for visitors we have to say 'no' occasionally. This doesn't necessarily mean there won't be space for you in following months and we will contact you if this is the case.

2) Fill out the booking form and pay

If your submission has been accepted we will email you a booking form with terms and conditions for taking part in Brighton Craft Fair, together with details of how to make payment.

When we have received both your form and cleared payment we'll confirm your place(s), issuing you with a receipt should you want one.

For more information on booking and how Brighton Craft Fair operates read the FAQs section.

1. How many stalls are available?

We have capacity for about 20 indoor stalls with up to another 6 spaces available outside in the summer months between March and September at our Brighton event. We have 20 to 25 at East Dean and 20 for our outdoor summer events in Eastbourne. Stalls are allocated on a first come, first served basis, following receipt of booking form and payment.

Any requests for stalls above this number will be placed on a waiting list and be informed no less than ONE week of the fair date if any cancellations have been received.

2. Why do I have to fill out an 'Expression of Interest' form before I can book?

We want to ensure we have a good selection and quality of arts and crafts on sale which is why we 'vet' potential new stallholders. You only need to fill this out once and if you're accepted we just need to receive your booking form for future events.

3. How large is the stall area?

Indoor stallholders will be provided with a table measuring at least 5' x 2' and you can use any available space around the stall, provided it doesn't interfere with other stallholders or block the circulation of visitors.

Stallholders in the garden and at our outdoor events in Eastbourne will need to bring their own table(s) and gazebo up to 3m x 3m.

4. Can I share a table?

If you've got a friend who does crafts you'd like to share your stall with then that's fine, though both of you will need to fill out a separate 'Expression of Interest' and be accepted before we can grant you a table.

5. Can I bring lights to use on my stall?

You can bring electric lights, although we recommend these are PAT-tested in advance. If you are using extension cables ensure these don't become a trip hazard.  No electricity will be provided for outdoor stallholders in the garden.

6. Why are certain times of year more expensive?

Certain fairs coincide with seasonal events, such as Christmas, so we expect you will sell more and there will be a greater demand for stalls. In addition we will be making an even greater effort than normal to promote these particular fairs to the general public.

7. What are you doing to promote the fair?

We will do everything we can within our capacity to ensure that the fair is well publicised, including making sure it is included within the listings of local newspapers, newsletters, magazines, websites, as well as those of national craft fairs. We also have a postcard that will be widely distributed around local venues, such as shops, cafes and anywhere else we can think of! We also have our own Facebook and Instagram.

We also need your help in promoting the fair, so please spread the word with our publicity postcard as much as you can!

If you have any ideas for how we could better promote Brighton Craft Fair then do get in contact.

8. When can the garden be used?

Stalls will be available to book in the Friends Meeting House garden between March and September and this option will be given to you on the booking form. Stallholders need to bring their own gazebo to protect themselves from adverse weather. Total stall area must not exceed 9m2 (3m length x 3m wide).

Once you've exhibited with us at least once we want to make it as easy and straight forward for you to be able to re-book.

So, all you need to do now is fill out and submit our interactive Booking Form whenever you decide you want to exhibit.

Your stall will only be fully confirmed when we have received payment. If we have not received payment within 2 weeks of the fair we reserve the right to offer your stall to another exhibitor.
